Best burger place I've been so far. You can pick and choose every option to have your favorite burger. I also tried the smallest option and its still very tasty.

Definitely go. It's a burger place I would recommend especially if you like to be able to customize your own smash burger. We really liked the sweet sourdough bun we chose for it. The burger is big too which is a plus! I normally don't like burgers, but this is one of the few places I'd go back to (like burger bodega). The only thing I don't recommend there are their fries. My boyfriend got them and said they weren't really fresh. Other people's fries didn't look like it either.

Burger chan staff is welcoming, and they have great food. I get a jalapeno bacon cheeseburger, it has the perfect amount of heat and is always juicy. Their lemonade is the best I've ever had anywhere, They are consistently great every time I go.

Stop reading reviews, grab your keys and get to this restaurant ASAP! The burger was 5 stars. The sweet potato waffle fries were 5 stars. The service was 5 stars. And to top it all off, the house made lemonade was 5 stars. Their brioche bun was top notch. The bacon was crispy. The grilled onions were plentiful and perfectly caramelized. I literally can't find one thing about my experience to complain about. You can fully customize your burger to your liking or ask the friendly staff for recommendations. I rarely give burger establishments more than 3 stars. This is the best burger in Texas.

Edit edit: I admit defeat to the awesomeness of the scallion aioli. 5 stars all around. Edit: The chef-inspired burgers are definitely a cut above. I also tried the black sesame milkshake and it was delicious. Not too sweet, which means they're not covering up bad flavor with sugar ;) Old review: The flavor and thousand island sauce was just okay, especially for the price. The fries also had a frozen taste/texture to it, which I know is some people's preference, but it's not for me. Overall, they're not a first choice, but I'd go back again to see if other menu items are more appealing.

My top 3 burger places in Houston! The meat is tender and juicy and so flavorful and the breads they use are so fluffy and tasty. The cheese curds are perfectly cheesy and with the scallion aioli it’s a dream! I have been here many times and all of their food is good like the chilli cheese dog and patty melt! Must try!

I've posted about this place before but I'll do it again haha. Burger Chan is my absolute favorite burger place in Houston! You can customize your burger any way you'd like and I can almost guarantee you that it will taste great. I've never had a bad burger from this place in the 5 years I've been eating here. Plus, the staff is always super friendly. I was bummed when they had to close their last location at Greenway but now they've opened their cool new location near the Galleria (with more space and some very cool artwork) earlier this year and I am very glad they're back.

First time here… I came in just as they closed, so I became their last customer of the day at 3pm. Great burger, helpful and kind staff. Meat was smashed with crispy edges, the meat was well seasoned, veggies were fresh and crisp, and the scallion aioli was creamy and had a hint of sweetness. Add the pickled jalapeño peppers, they weren’t too spicy but they were thick and crunchy!

The burgers are top notch. You can tell they make many of their own sauces. Really good selection of canned craft beer. Super clean restrooms. I'm a fan

Hands down the most unique and customizable burger place I’ve been to. The “build it yourself” style of ordering makes it so that you can take your time choosing what goes best on your burger, and it comes out even better than you expected. The cashier at the counter will also help you out, giving suggestions and checking for clarification. The indoor ambiance is very fun as well, there’s a daily puzzle (which I was not able to solve), and water station. The food comes out relatively fast, and depending on how you build your burger, it can be pretty cheap. Highly recommend for a fun experience.
